Dylan Arasim, B.A., is a relationships, individual, sexuality, and identity therapist with a significant amount of field experience. His interests include relationships, identity, sexuality, and life transitions. Their work is through a strengths-based approach with an emphasis on humanistic, person-centered care with an understanding of systemic effects. His goal is to help others realize their individual and relational strengths while building up their skills and supports. Dylan is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is passionate about providing tools to help others live their lives in ways that are meaningful to them. Dylan believes that all people deserve to find joy and passion in their lives and he adapts DBT and other models to help him meet people where they are. Dylan is neurodiverse, poly-affirming, kink-affirming, and always open to learning.
Dylan graduated from the University of Hartford with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2022. Since then, Dylan has worked in inpatient substance use recovery and in residential treatment with young adults and adults. He also runs a DBT skills group in Philadelphia for adults and young adults. Currently, Dylan is studying for his Masters of Social Work and his Masters of Education at Widener University, with a focus on human sexuality studies and trauma-informed care.
