Dylan Arasim, B.A., is a therapist specializing in relationships, individual counseling, sexuality, and identity. With extensive field experience, Dylan applies a strengths-based, humanistic approach that centers on individual needs and recognizes broader systemic influences.
His therapeutic practice focuses on empowering individuals, couples, and non-monogamous relationships by helping clients discover their inherent strengths and develop practical skills. Trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dylan is committed to providing personalized tools that enable clients to create meaningful, fulfilling lives.
As a neurodiverse professional, Dylan offers a compassionate, inclusive practice that is poly-affirming and kink-affirming. He believes every person and relationship has the potential to experience joy and passion. His approach is adaptive and client-centered, ensuring that he meets people exactly where they are in their personal journey of growth and self-understanding.
Dylan’s core philosophy is one of continuous learning and genuine support, dedicated to helping clients navigate life transitions, explore their identities, and build robust personal and relational supports.
Dylan graduated from the University of Hartford with his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2022. Since then, Dylan has worked in inpatient substance use recovery and in residential treatment with young adults and adults. He also runs a DBT skills group in Philadelphia for adults and young adults. Currently, Dylan is studying for his Masters of Social Work and his Masters of Education at Widener University, with a focus on human sexuality studies and trauma-informed care.
