About Finn
Finn (he/him/his) acquired his Bachelor of Science in Criminology with minors in Forensic Psychology and Social Work from George Mason University. He graduated from West Chester University with his Masters in Social Work. While there, Finn was recognized for his advocacy work by being awarded the 2023 MSW Human Rights Award. He also holds his LMSW and is working towards his LCSW with us!
Finn has experience working with ages 4 to 50 and his clients are typically folx looking for an affirming clinician who can help them through their trauma, depression, anxiety, and/or other related mental health struggles. Finn works with clients that are neurodivergent and they take comfort in his massive amount of fidgets that are always available to them. Some clients come to Finn questioning their identity or sexuality. He offers a nonjudgmental space for them to explore their identities without feeling judged along the way or the pressure to conform one way or another.
Finn likes to offer a safe space built on the sanctuary model that welcomes anyone and everyone. Finn utilizes alternative creative interventions like therapeutic art, play, and sand tray because he believes everyone heals and copes differently which means they may need alternative methods. He also uses a combination of other modalities like CBT, Mindfulness Based, Narrative, and more.
Finn strives to give his clients their power back in their journey. He strives to be compassionate and provide clients a space that helps them become their most happy and healthy selves.
