  • Counseling Services to provide compassionate and ethical clinical counseling
  • Consultation Sessions to area schools, fellow clinical practices, and businesses who wish to create safer, more supportive environments for LGBTQ+ youth, young adults and their families

LGBTQ Youth Mentoring Initiative       September 12, 2016 – May 31, 2019

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware

  • Community Outreach & Education: Network with community and parent groups to expand reach to LGBTQ youth and their families.
  • Provide training related to mentoring LGBTQ youth – to mentors, GSA faculty advisors & BBBSDE staff.
  • Mentor Enrollment/Screening/Training: Conduct personal interviews, reference checks, home visits, & training workshops
  • Youth Enrollment (community-based program): Conduct Parent/Guardian & youth interviews

Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc

  • Oversight of the day to day operation of the Alpha Comprehensive Drug Free Outpatient AOD Program for 500 clients with paid staff of sixteen and a Master’s Level internship program of six students.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality improvements to systems and processes, efficient and appropriate clinical care and support to all BCCS clients served by this project
  • Implementation of Fee-for-Service Transition Process at Alpha
  • Carried a caseload of 35 providing individual and group sessions

HIV/AIDS Case Management Coordinator         February, 1993 – June, 1996

Chase-Brexton Health Services, Inc.

  • Program Development, Implementation, & Expansion of the Case Management Department from 2 to 12 staff
  • Clinical Supervision of staff, volunteers, graduate & undergraduate students while serving as an active member of various city and state-wide public policy counsels.
  • Submitted for and was awarded Federal & State Grants to expand service delivery
  • Program Development & Implementation of the Medical Intake System, which reduced wait time for initial appointment, increased service delivery, prioritized severity of medical need, and increased our third-party payments by working with an interdisciplinary team to meet the needs of our 1,000+ constituents while providing clinical services to a case load of forty clients.

Greenspring Pediatric Associates of Sinai Hospital

  • Program Development, Implementation, Expansion of a comprehensive social service care program for Women and Children with HIV/AIDS through a Pediatric AIDS Pilot Grant Program which involved creating treatment protocols for infants and children who tested HIV Positive.
  • Provided Training & Education to parents, community organizations; and to several hospital departments, such as OB/GYN, Methadone Program, and Neo-natal/Delivery re: HIV Risk Reduction, Prevention, Testing & Counseling

  • Created & submitted the initial Proposal for Food Truck Access to Wilmington City Streets; and then with representatives of Mayors Office and provided testimony before City Council for passage of Ordinance #4080
